a meaningful first chapter at 90 Laurel Avenue, Community Cafe is preparing for its next home at 1901A Springfield Avenue in Maplewood. While we take the summer to thoughtfully build what comes next, you’ll still find us at pop-ups, collaborations, and community gatherings around town.

As Community Cafe prepares to leave its Laurel Avenue home and begin a new chapter on Springfield Avenue, we reflect on the mural that quietly told the story of our roots, cultures, and community from the very beginning.
